As with human languages, the best way to learn OOP is to learn by total immersion. The best way to learn OOP is to be forced to use objects all the time. Smalltalk is the ideal language for this because everything in Smalltalk is objects and methods and the syntax is very simple.
The course starts with very simple instructions and ends with a complete project developed together.
