Objectives Basic Training in Project Management Tools & Techniques

Topics Based on the best practices, as described in PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge, the student will be introduced in the fundamentals of Project Management. Those fundamentals are organised in 9 knowledge areas : project integration management, project scope management, project cost management, project time management, project quality management, project communications management, project human resource management, project risk management, project procurement management. Each knowledge area will be treated during the course. The main focus of the course is on the tools & techniques used in every knowledge area. Because of the practical nature of project management the student will be asked to prove his/her knowledge by writing a paper about a project of his/her choice.
