- General microbiological methods (sterilisation, preparation of culture
media, Gram staining, isolation,...)
- Detection of micro-organisms (contamination test)
- Microbiological air quality control
- Examination of water (criteria for swimming waters)
- Microbiological drinking water control (faecal streptococci and coliforms)
- Identification of Gram-negative rods (presumptive biochemical tests and
API strip tests)
- Sensitivity tests for antibiotics
