Objectives To get the students in contact with frequently used and new technologies in connection with cutting- and forming techniques, so they are capable of choosing their working methods independently.
Prerequisites Basic knowledge about conventional cutting- and production machines.
Topics - Setting up of combining working methods
- Grinding exercises
- Industrial systems or making gears (Fellows, Pfauter)
- Applications on universal lathe- and milling machines
- Basics of CNC programming: CNC lathe and CNC milling
- Basics of welding methods
Teaching Methods Theoretical sessions (2 hours/week first semester), practical sessions (4 hours every 14 days)
Students with problems concerning these technologies can become extra information with the proper teachers.
Materials used Syllabus, personal safety clothes.
Study guidance
Assessment Assessment for theoretical sessions: written tests, for practical sessions is necessary to prepare the individual exercises. Theoretical knowledge is necessary.
