Objectives
- to be become aware of how human beings mutually influence each other by their way of observing, communicating and giving feedback;
- to master the basic notions of the theoretical substructure of agogic acting;
- to give the first impulse to apply the above social skills.
Prerequisites
Topics
- observation: definition, importance, influencing factors, good observation requirements;
- communication: definition and outline, communication laws, kinds of communication, listening skills, assertiveness, speaking skills;
- functioning within a group: group processes, interaction between teacher and pupils.
Teaching Methods
Practical lessons and tasks are coupled to the theory lessons, according to the size of the group.
Materials used
Combination of own notes and texts.
Study guidance
Should the case arise, the lecturer tries to find a solution to the students' individual needs.
Assessment
- permanent examination and examinations,
- oral and written examination in January and June.
Study costs
BEF 200 or EUR 4.96.
