To gain knowledge and insight, concentrated on primary education which will be used as a basis for the guidance of learning, development and educational processes and also for functioning within the teaching community.
To gain skills enabling the students to prepare, realise and evaluate teaching processes on an independent basis.

- discussion of the basis skills of a primary education teacher and of the Primary Education Decree, tendencies in primary education;
- objectives, forms of working , didactical principles;
- class management.
Teaching Methods
Varied forms of working : teaching, educational conversation, teamwork, coached independent work, etc.
Materials used
Course book, supplementary texts, student's own notes.
Study guidance
On his/her own initiative, a student explains his/her learning problem in connection with the training part concerned to his/her lecturer, who will properly coach him/her.
Assessment
Written examination.
