Objectives
During the second year attention will mainly be focussed on the didactical part of teaching. This will enable the students to pass on the skills and knowledge acquired in the previous year. In order to do so, one has to be able to understand and deal with the final learning aims for mathematics and the specific learning plans. Some special attention will go to initially calculating and mathematics.
Prerequisites
Subject-matter of 1st year mathematics course.
Topics
The course comprises following parts:
- general aims for mathematics in primary school;
- final learning aims and learning plans for mathematics in primary school;
- initially calculating and mathematics;
- methodological approach of the various fields in mathematics.
Teaching Methods
- Lectures with opportunity for discussion;
- Self-study;
- Problem-guided education with supervised individual / group assignments.

- Video recordings.
Study guidance
Individual tutoring by appointment.
Assessment
- Permanent evaluation;
- Written exam in June.
