Key words
Objectives To provide a general framework of change-oriented educational theory and competence training in behaviour-oriented social and community work.
Prerequisites No prior knowledge required.
Topics An initial general introductory module gives, among other things, a definition of "social, cultural and presonal welfare" (or "social guidance", for short), as an umbrella discipline.
In addition, the basic concepts are taught w.r.t. processes of change and educational methods at the following levels: individual, group, organizational and community.
Straight after that comes a consideration of theoretical pedagogics. Light is shed on the fundamental pedagogical ways of thinking: humanities-centric, empirical-analytical, critical emancipatoric and cultural heritage pedagogics.
In connection with the aforesaid ways of thinking, realized projects are also studies in depth.
