Objectives
The students will be devided in small groups to work on a project related to ambulantory care.
They discuss:
- the specific characteristics of the target group
- the treatment centre
- the care plan: physical, emotional and educational needs, purposes, procedure and priorities, educational programs
- the collaborative services
The report their work to the other students.

Prerequisites
Theories, methods and technics in special education for all types of handicapped persons.

Topics
Students make a choise between ambulantory services and tempary residential care:
field work, foster parents placements, host families, day-care centres, supported lodging and sheltered housing, family-directed support services, processes of networking, cultural-social education associations for caregivers, associations for handicapped persons or parents, child and jouth care protection in accordance with youth justice, tempary respite to avert a crisis, refuge and receptionhomes.
