Objectives
- In this course we will try to present a general introduction to the discipline of sociology. The goal of this course is to introduce you to the sociological imagination and the insights it provides into the way social factors influence on how people function and how our society "works ".
- Introduction into the different sociological paradigma's , providing insights for a founded critical attitude. This provides also a confrontation with the different "thruth's" in the human sciences.
- Introduction into a sociological vision towards social problems such as : social inequality, class- and sekssocialisation . This helps to build up a better understanding of the impact of one own's social position on his/her references.-
