The course aims at making the students familiar with micro- and macro-economic notions, phenomena and problems, in order to obtain a clearer insight into the operation of society, from the economic point of view.
Prerequisites
No specific knowledge required.

Basic notions, economic cycle, government bookkeeping, macro-economic unities, consumers, producers, markets and prices, earnings, government, money, national income and general price-level, conjuncture and economic growth, abroad.

Lectures with the possibility of asking questions.

Assessment
Written examination.
