Objectives
To get an broad knownledge on biochemistry of plants and higher animals.
Understand the differences in biochemical characteristics of different living forms and understand the correlation to their living conditions;

Kinetics of enzymes: determination of Km, Vmax, inhibitors and optima
Isolation of plant pigments and of chloroplasts
Isolation of proteins, purification and determination of MW by PAGE
Isolation of nucleic acids and agarose elektroforesis
