Objectives
The aim of the course is to teach the students the operation of the basic components of the analog and digital technology and to study the principles of automation.


Prerequisites
Basic concepts of electricity (1st year)

Topics
1. Analog technology: passive components of electricity, the diode, the transistor, the opamp, the thyristor, the triac, integrated circuits.
2. Digital technology: notations an codes, logic gates, circuits with logic gates, semi-conductor memorys, A/D and D/A convertors, microcomputer conceptions, datatransmission.
3. Automation: introduction, the closed control system, kinds of controllers, survey of the correcting devices and sensors, optical sensor and detector.
4. Climatisation
