Objectives
To develop a logical thinking to solve problems, using a computer-language.

Topics
  • We start with elementary concepts concerning a computerconfiguration and the representation of numbers and characters in the PC-memory.
  • The main part is to learn the basicinstructions in the C++-language.
  • We start with elementary C++-programs, then we learn the repeat and conditional structures to develop "language-independent" solutions for sums, counting, maximum,..
  • With random-functions the student learns how the computer can be used in simulating real situations.
  • Finally we deal with one and two dimensional tables.

Prerequisites
No
