Objectives
Integration of basic German grammar and (extensive) vocabulary by means of exerrcises and a training of the students' speaking, writing,listening and reading capabilities. The students should develop a good basis for communication in German.
Topics
1. Introduction into basic German grammar and formation of words;
2. Pronounciation and orthography;
3. Knowledge of people and country: occasionally;
4. Vocabulary and "building blocks" for conversations in general and professional (business) situations.
= systematic training of speaking, writing, listening and reading capabilities.
Prerequisites
No prerequisites for German. Obviously, students who have already studied some German before, will experience this as an advantage.
Foreign students should have a basic knowledge of Dutch (course focussed on native speakers of Dutch).

1. Teacher's course book:
- applied exercises;
- material for dialogues;
- information from various sources;
- vocabulary lists (German - Dutch);
- grammar.

- exercises in teacher's course book;
