Key words Physics
Objectives
To acquire the capability to understand and explain physical laws and
processes
Topics
In this first year course, the fundamental principles of classical physics
are treated.
In the first chapters (mechanics) the motion of particles and bodies is
considered and later on these principles are put into practice in the
theories of oscillation, waves and sound.
The solid state properties and the fluidum (fluid-gas) laws and
characteristics are also taught.
The last chapter deals with heat conduction.
Prerequisites
A sufficient mathematical level (geometry, goniometry, algebra, derivation
and integration of simple functions)
Final Objectives
Materials used
Teacher's course
Study costs
Study guidance
Teaching Methods
Lectures - demonstrations - exercices - others
Assessment
