Objectives
To explain and apply the basic principles, laws and techniques of electricity. Gaining insight in solving networks through varias techniques.
Claryfying theoretical terms using practical examples.

Topics
Direct current includes an introduction to valves, units and basic laws of electrotechnique, the switching of resistanses and different techniques to resolve circuits.
Magnetism studies the magnetic fields in general, followed by a study of electromagnetism.
Furthermore attention goes to electromagnetic induction in order to understand the working of motors and generators.
The course includes a part of electrostatics, with deals with powerfields, potential, condensators and the term polarisation.
The course is concluded with a chapter on theory of alternative current focusing on the complex figuration.
