Objectives Students should get acquainted with the court organisation and get insight into the proceeding of a typical trial.
They will learn to use the code, to draft simple deeds and to analyse court decisions.
Topics General overview of civil procedure and of the kind of normsCourts organisation, powers, professions and persons involved.
The trial: initiating the procedure (different modes); dealing with the trial by the court and by the parties and their advocates; evidence; judicial decision; appeal, and the like; execution of the judicial decision (the law of seizure is part of the 3rd year course).
Prerequisites no specific previous knowledge is required.
