Key words Statistics
Objectives Graduates are expected to process mainly practically useful knowledge. The course of statistics is organized in such a way as to do that for the subjects dealt with. There are a sufficient number of possibilities for individual further study. On the other hand, a truly mathematical approach to the field of statistics is not necessary. You will learn to know and understand basic terminology, to apply statistical techniques in practical job-related situations and to interpret statistical data and results. In this course of 'descriptive statistics' every theoretical unit is accompanied by a series of exercises. Systematic reference is made to statistical processing using computer programs.
