Objectives
Main goal is to focus (exemplary) on a specific target group or a specific theme within socialcultural work. Students have:
- analyse the specific issues or target groups
- describe hot topics and objectives in the field
- question the methods adjacent to the target group
- link referenceframes of other courses to this target group
- reflect and question critically views on policy and possibilities

Topics
Each year one target group will be chosen (youth, immigrants, seniors,...) This year we'll focus on Youth Work.
Students will get insight in youth policy as it is implemented today on different levels. Besides some definitions, we'll focus on the different legislations and international youth work.
Student elaborate their own vision towards actual themes in the field (education, culture, participation,....)

Prerequisites
Knowledge of the local, provincial, national and international political structures.
