Key words Sociocultural work and approaching groups
Objectives The students study two options of Social Work.
- Social Work: linked on the basic course students exercise skills and on attitude and reflection on methodological acting.
- Social Cultural Work:students integrate theoretical views into what social cultural work is about and into the methodological and organisational aspects of social cultural work.They practise skills charateristic to SCW (how to organise a press conference, how to set up an exposition, ...)
- Social counselling: during this course students get acquainted with the field of activities and the role of social advisor. The emphasis is put on the practical use of jurisprudence within the field of social welfare.
- Human Resource Management: students compare theoretical concepts and methods of personnel management with the everyday practise in the workplace. Students integrate theoretical views and everyday practise with their own views in an paper.
Students practise communicative skills characteristic to the function of an HR officer: effective use of phone, prepare and guide an interview, put together and give a presentation for a group. Students work together purposeful in group. Students practise problemsolving skills characteristic to the function of a HR officer: analyse a assignement, make a planning, take purposeful action. Student develop different attitudes that are linked to the function of a HR officer: ability tot assimilate, independency, sense of responsibility, creativity, dedication and orientation on results.
