Objectives
* Making of well-founded product analysis for specific garments.
* Gaining insight into the various product and transport systems within the production department of a clothing factory. Explaining, analysing and justifying the consequences of this choice for each system, as far as distribution of work as well as production process are concerned.
* Explaining and justifying the most frequently used production techniques in clothing manufacture.
* Constructing manufacturing techniques in the most logical and reliable way, using machines designed for that purpose.
* Programming Jacquard-designs + patterns in knitwear, produced by linear robots.

Ordinary fabrics: Theory and exercises
Product analysis of trousers with basic exercises
Instruction register for mens' trousers with working documents, determining quality requirements and tolerances, tuning and production process.
* Production and transport systems
* Finishing of women's and men's trousers.
* Working out a proper collection and if possible a project collection in collaboration with lecturers of fashion, CAD/CAM, patterning, materials know-how.
