Objectives
In the syllabuses of the foreign languages the students' oral and written communication will be optimized by means of grammatical exercises, vocabulary exercises and practical exercises in the 4 skills : speaking skill, listening skill, writing skill and reading skill.
In the syllabus 'Business Communication' the oral and written communication skills that are necessary for the thesis and useful in a later professional career are emphasized.
Topics Foreign languages
Grammar : German + English :systematic and occasional study of grammatical topics / French : occasional study of grammatical topics
General and branch-oriented vocabulary
Speaking skill : e.g. improving pronunciation, business communication
Reading skill : a few branch-oriented texts which may be integrated in business communication
Writing skill : spelling, sentence structure, translations, business letters(English)
Listening skill : exercises with audio-visual aids
