Objectives
The students are given a practical base to:
  • know and use several materials and typical techniques in their appropriate way;
  • space design
  • apply colour in 2D and 3D compositions and to use them in outdoor spaces;
  • mixing colours;
  • combine colours;
  • know the influence of colours;
  • know basic methods and several materials in order to use them in abstract forms exercises and in spatial designs;
  • use and make drawings and scale models in order to illustrate own spatial designs;
  • use qualities and properties of abstract forms, shapes and basic design elements in abstract form exercises;
  • handle basic drawing language by primary geometric plans and volumes;
  • analyse and render more complex forms (both geometric and organic) by analyse and constructive drawing;
  • use typical techniques to render optical texture;
  • understand the basic principles of perspective and use them to draw interiors and still life;
  • use methods of perspective giving preference to practice green projects;
  • simple applications of shadow, reflections and light quality.
