Objectives
The student has knowledge of the basic principles of (landscape-)ecology and some actual environmental problems.
De student has knowledge of the basic components of an ecosystem and of the coherence in a landscape paying attention to patterns and processes.
The student is able to make an ecological typology of a study area by means of maps and literature and to make some suggestions for the design of gardens, parks or landscapes.
The student is able to formulate and apply measures for the practice of landscape-architecture which result in an ecological functioning of a study area.
