Objectives - to enlarge the knowledge of medical bacteria, adding the gram + bacteria
- to learn new culture media and new strategies to culture, isolate and identify bacteria
- to apply the knowledge and skills to real lab samples
Topics Theory:
- different pathological specimen
- description, isolation and identification of : clostridium, spirochaetales, mucolrecterium, stapheylococcus, streptococcus, nycoplasmata and chlamydisc
- strategies for isolation and identification of pathogens of different specimen
Practice:
- isolation and identification of bacteria from urine, faeces, spectum.
