Key words Robotics
Objectives PART I :
Knowledge of elementary concepts and systems related to robotic sciences. The student should be able to show knowledge of different used techniques and solve specific exercises.
PART II :
Gain more in-depth knowledge of PART I by means of study-cases presented in article form. Student should be able to present and defend the content and its scientific value in a short way.
Topics PART I :
The industrial robot: basic configurations, kinematics and dynamics, Denavit-Hartenberg conversion between robot coordinates and generalcoordinates. The harmonic drive reductor. Grippers. Programming of industrial robots: on-line, off-line, hybrid Electric drives: DC-motors, AC-motors, Stepper motor (dynamiccharacteristic) Sensor systems: resistors, inductive sensors, optical sensors. Acquisitionof sensor data.Applications of industrial robots: spot welding, arc welding, paintspraying.
