Objectives
Our college is subsidized for this course by the European Union. The full title is "Knowledge of Europe Jean Monnet-module", History of the European Construction Process'. A preparation to a professional and social life in a European social-economic perspective, that is the main purpose of this education part.
By studying, comparing, interpreting and explaining of texts, statistical data and maps, visual material, internet-data and video material you obtain insight in the evolution of Europe and in the present and futur environmental relations and you are sensitized for current European subjects, by which you will learn to understand and valorize the European context better.

Topics
Concerning content the attention goes among other things to Europe in its unity and variety,

to the origin and the history of the European Union,

to the institutions of the EU and the decision process,

to the conventions and the consequences (European rules) of it,

to the EMU and the Euro,

to the farming politics and the regional development in the EU,

to the Joint Foreign and Safety Policy,

and to the future of Europe.

Prerequisites
No prior knowledge required.
