Objectives Students master financial, insurance and stock exchange terminology and can use this knowledge adequately in internal and external business communication.
Topics Thematically organized course, in which the terminology of marine insurance and reinsurance, banking and stock exchange transactions is studied and practised.
Prerequisites Basic knowledge of insurance and financial terminology; sufficient grammatical correctness for fluent communication.

Teaching Methods
- Question-answer method: the terminology is presented by means of texts, documents and case studies
- Integrated speech training:
- functional conversations
- presentations about a job-related subject of students' own choice (individual, pair or group work)
- Guided self-study: the students prepare topics and consult the lecturer in case of problems.
Assessment
- first examination period: 25% continuous assessment and 75% oral.
- Second examination period: 100% oral.
