Objectives Integration of statistics en IT technics to support the marketing-decision-making process.
Competencies: can make choices to support the marketing management with proper information , execute the analyses and the interpretation of great quantity of data in different data-processing instruments (databases, SPSS, spreadsheets).
Obtain skills to handle different types of data in the most efficient way. Give direct support to MIS.
Topics Manipulate databases in different softwareprograms.
Go deeply into statistic knowledge with procedures as factor- en clusteranalysis, Mean tests, non parametric tests, regression (lineair en multiple) with appication in SPSS.
Prerequisites Descriptive statistics
Elementary knowledge of spreadsheet and database programs
