Objectives The multicultural society is a fact. In our workfield, this reality needs to be translated through learning to function in an intercultural way. This means that we learn to cope with diversity and give everybody equal chances.

Prerequisites Objectives of 1st year philosophy with special emphasis on an open view towards alternative worldviews
Final Objectives The student
- esplains the phenomenon of a multicultural society
- expresses correctly the meaning of concepts such as cultural identity, discrimination, etnocentrism, relativism,...
- analyses himself and his environment throught those concepts
- functions interculturally competent in his worksetting
