Objectives
The framework of an organisation and society is always the starting point for the social worker: an organisation has to create optimal structures for the guidance and caretaking proces of the social educator.
Within those structures the social educator has a responsability in regard of policy; on the one hand he'll be confronted with task areas specific for functions on a higher level (micro level); on the other hand he has to be able to develop a critical view regarding policy tendencies.

Final Objectives
The student:
- critically reviews concepts, structures and applications concerning the concept organisation
- arguments several actors' roles regarding caretaking facilities
- correctly discusses the concepts regarding quality care and is able to show the main idea concerning quality care
- recognises several aspects of policy and management and handles them flexibly according to the organisational context
