Objectives
Practice of social law:
To gain an insight into specific aspects of social law.
Students should be able to give an apposite answer when defining problems relating to social security (RSZ) legislation and emploment law.
The social accounting system in practice:
To gain an insight into the procedure and documents of a few key fields of application of social law:
ilness, industrial accidents, reduced working hours, unemployment, pensions and bridging pensions, ...
Students should be able to follow these procedures and fill out the appropriate documents correctly.

Topics
One of the consequences of the ever-changing provisions of social law is that the content of this course has to be updated on a regular basis. The problems that the students came up against will alse be determinant when fleshing out this course topic. The material covered shall, in each case, be about relations under employment- and/or social law.

Prerequisites
The students have seen an introduction to law and are, as a consequence, already familiar with the basic concepts, the sources of law, ... The students are also well up on the basic regulations of social security legislation and employment law. They also know the rudiments of legal methodology.

Worksheets plus exercises. The bibliography is appended to the course notes: it serves as recommended reading.
