Key words Sociocultural work and approaching groups
Objectives The students study two options of Social Work.
- Social Work: linked on the basic courst students concentrate on exercising skills and on attitude and reflection on methodological acting.
- Social Cultural Work: to gain a deeper insight into what social cultural work is about and into the methodological and organisational aspects of social cultural work (how to organise a press conference, how to set up an exposition, ...)
- Social counselling: during this course students get acquainted with the field of activities and the role of social advisor. The emphasis is put on the practical use of jurispudence within the field of social welfar.
- Human Resource Management: students gain insight in basic models, techniques and instuments of human resource management. In the course of this educational proces they also develop a strong vision on historic as well as recent developments in the territory of personnel management, e.g. recruitment, selection, carreer planning and development of skills and attitudes that are required by a professional HR-officer.
