Objectives
Selected experiments are used to quantitate some anorganic and organic polluents from the environmental compartments water, soil and air by modern instrumental techniques and to compare the results with the local quality standards.

Topics
Determination of phosphates in water; nitrate-ions in ground waters by UV-VIS spectrometry and nitrate - ISE; determination of fluoride in phosphate rock, fertilizers and soil with ISE; determination of anionic detergents in surface water; extraction and determination of PAK and BETX in soil by GC ; extraction and determination of heavy metals in soil of river mud by AAS ; determination of apolar alkanes in soil by IR-analysis ; determination of NOx in air e.a.
