The course consists of 3 important parts:
- professional trimmers / bush cutters
Besides these theoretical aspects of the course, there will be several visits to producers and dealers of all kinds of machines used for laying out gardens / public spaces, landscaping and nature management / conservation. The mechanics, maintenance, safe usage, etc. will be illustrated there.

Knowledge
- the student knows how a 2-stroke engine works and has knowledge of the mechanics of chain saws, professional trimmers, bush cutters and woodchippers;
- the student can do simple calculations, enlarging their ability to judge differences between different machines.
- the student is aware of the dangers linked to the use of the concerning machines and has knowledge of all precautions and safety measures that need to be applied;
- the student has an initial elementary knowledge of existing techniques for usage of the concerning machines.
