Objectives
Give the students a thorough insight in the different possibilities regarding the different types of pumps, in connection with the applications in the agriculture.
Construction and funcionality of the different types of pumps.

  • Operation techniques in order to prevent decay or losses;
  • Conservation techniques: physical, chemical and enzymatical;
  • Synopsis of pumps + applications in agriculture;
  • Construction and functionality of the different types of pumps (suction-, centrifugal-, membrane-, self suction- and geer-wheel pumps) supporting with notions on the subject of sale, viscosity, different types of flows, resistence of pipe;
  • Optimal functioning of a pump;
  • Defaults and reasons of not optimal working of a pump.


Prerequisites


Final Objectives
The student can make a choice between the type of a pump in function of the application. The student can detect defaults and reasens of not optimal working of a pump and also he can give a solution.
