Objectives Gain insights into ecological management to create conditions important for develepment of flora and fauna and insights into landscape management.
- Obtaining knowledge of forestry, i.e. forest (re)establishment, natural rejuvenation, forest treatment, forms and sorts of forestry, discussion of several important species for forestry, forest reformation, producing a forest management plant;
- Choice of tree species related to environmental parameters, i.e. through software (BOBO v.1.0);
- Learning to calculate with the most frequently used arithmetic parameters in forestry;
- Acquiring a practical sense of current Belgian fauna management.
