Objectives
The first purpose of this course is educational. The students are given a theoretical base of plant knowledge as well as a practical one of nomenclature. This is a general course of determination in nature.
The student has notions of introductory knowledge with woody and herbaceous plants in combination with cultivated plants and plant sociology with natural flora.

Topics
Introductory notions: plantsystematic and taxonomy.
Theoretical base of plant knowledge, trees, schrubs, perennials, conifers and fruit trees.
Geography and plantsociology studies.
Practice in nomenclature and methodics of planning.
Systematic classification, taxonomy, nomenclature and plant determination, geographical and sociological appearance.
Exercices and methodology of planting plans.

Prerequisites
No basic (first) knowledge required.


Final Objectives
The student can direct the use of plants in order of goal and situation of the site and management.
