Hydraulic Engineering: techniques and materials for bank protection, kinds of dam walls, use and placement techniques of culverts, construction principles of bridge structures, protection of steep banks against erosion.
Street trees: positioning, position maintenance
Roof gardens: structure and decoration of particularly extensive roof gardens

Prerequisites
Final competences of the courses of the first year. ('Materials and techniques to laying out a garden or park 1 and 2) and final competences of the courses of the second (landscape engineering 1).
The student must be able to elaborate a design of a construction in a landscape design.

Final Objectives
1. The student has obtained a technical and problem solving insight.
2. The student has an attitude of technical interest in elaborating technical plans and details.
3. The student can analyse the problems concerning hydraulic engineering.
4. The student can provide street trees or tree groups with the necessary and technical conditions, so that the tree can grow in an urban context.
5. The student knows several construction methods for extensive roofgardens and can use the necessary guidance to third parties.
