Objectives
Further development and acquisition of essential speaking, writing, reading and listening capabilities that are necessary to function in everyday as well as in professional situations.


Topics
1. Further development of the grammatical structures of German sentences (main and dubordinate clauses) : system of nominative, accusative, genitive and dative cases; other prepositions; verbs (other tenses), other numerals, conjunctions, ordering of words, with an emphasis between Dutch and German.
2. Knowledge of people and country : occasional;
3. Extension of basic vocabulary (both actively and passively) in general and with respect to politics and economics in particular.
4. Further development of abilities to write (written summaries and/or adaptations of German publications concerning the political, social and economic environment and speak (oral assignment concerning the written summaries, amongst others).

Prerequisites
- German I, as developed in the previous year (Ba1-BK);
- course focussed on native speakers of Dutch.

- grammar and applied exercises;
- vocabulary lists (German - Dutch);
- materials for dialogues.

- exercises on computer (ScaLa-software);
