Key words Electronics; Measurements
Objectives At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Independently test electronic circuits using the lab equipment provided (analog and digital oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency generator, multimeter...);
- Verify circuit behaviour by means of computer simulations;
- Explain the behaviour of circuits built from basic electronic components;
- Design a printed circuit board using CAE software;
- Mechanically describe and design electronic equipment;
- Know about and adhere to project phasing and milestones;
- As part of a group, be able to bring a project to a satisfactory end.
Topics The operation of the laboratory equipment;
Familiarization with and measurements on basic electronic circuits, built from components of which the operation has been thaught in theory classes;
Familiarization with a software progam for simulation en printed circuit board design;
A comprehensive electronic construction project, to be executed in the context of group work.
