Objectives
English:
This course is aimed at learning and practising the communication skills, which are required in business. The knowledge and communication skills of previous years are applied and expanded.
The student is capable of consulting and processing professional literature independently; he can make the information ready-to-use through being critical and having a ability to make things concrete.
The student has to work independently and comply with deadlines.

French:
Being able to express oneself both orally as in writing both in professional situations and seeking for work. Being able to communicate professionally and correct in corporate situations.
The student has to be able to handle sources of information in a creative way.Being able to analyse and reproduce content of texts and articles concerning the field of business.
The student also has to be able to apply and integrate the vocabulary that is inherent to these texts.
The student has to respect deadlines and agreements.

Topics
English:
Written communication: business letter, report, letters of application.
Oral communication: presentation, interview for a position, discussions
The knowledge of the (business) vocabulary is expanded.

French:
Authentic texts that are economy-oriented and vocabulary of themes linked to professions
Supplementary grammatical structures are repeated.
Written communication: CV and letter of application, translations and summaries
Oral communication: talks in professional situations.

Prerequisites
English:
Technical terminology (language and Communication I and II), sufficient grammatical correctness to be able to communicate in English.

French:
Willingness to communicate.
Thorough command of the French grammar, knowledge and skills (Language and Communication I and II)
