Objectives
The students learn how to structure and analyse information, in particular by means of the course book and completed by a limited number of articles and videos. We are also looking for information on internet.
The practise of teaching learns us that students have most difficulties with discerning economic coherences. Nonetheless everyone will be surrounded by it now as well as in later professional life. Therefore we try to bridge the economic theory and current affairs.
Students deal with 'cents and percentages' by means of exercises from the course. In this way arithmetic skills, reasoning power, ability to work on one's own and to make decisions are stimulated.
