Objectives
This course provides you with the necessary understanding of our society, which is so firmly grounded in legal standards
  • Students must know the most important principles of legally determined codes of conduct. They should understand the importance of these legal standards, in view of their practical benefit, for both the individual and for society in general.
  • It is our objective to teach students not only how to recognise and analyse the judicial aspects of a given situation, but also to enable them to solve certain judicial problems to a certain extent.
  • We want to alert students to our fast evolving jurisprudence and point out the necessity of lifelong learning.§ Students will be needing skills taught here in later training (e.g. placement, final papers, other parts of the curriculum).
Note: depending on students' main subject, different aspects are given more relevance.
