Objectives
Starting from a certain subject or problem, the students learn to deal independently and systematically with law.
To obtain knowledge and understanding the subject or problem and to be able to put it in a social context. Learn to use this knowledge and understanding to formulate and argue an own opinion.
Training of certain abilities (for example : listening, searching for information, comprehensive reading, abilities in writing and speaking, ...).

Topics
Global introduction to the problem and tracing the subject.
The clearly defined subject is looked at from different angles.
Attended by two teachers the students strive to come to an integated project.

Prerequisites
The students need a basic knowledge of law.

Final Objectives
The students :
- are capable to function as a group
- know their position in the group
- take initiatives to bring the assignement to a good end
- are capable to approach a social issue in a multidisciplinary way
- are capable to connect theoretical visions at practical problems and vice versa
- are capable to apply knowledge assimilated in other courses to cencrete issues
- have the necessary theoretical (juridical, psyclological, ...) skils to analyse a complex problem in an efficient way

Teaching Methods
Global theoretical introduction.
After the introduction the students work in groups and study a part of the problem. The teacher coaches the proces, read and debate the texts.

Assessment
Permanent evaluation : presence, cooperation, involvement, ...
Final instruction and presentation : work to deliver during the last lesson. During the last lesson a presentation is given in front of the teachers or a chosen group.
