The student:
is able to use correctly the sociological terms position, role, status, function as a basis for the understanding of the societal influence on human behavior.
uses the sociological referencescheme to estimate the complexity of social situations.
understands the different sociological paradigma's.
understands the correlation between micro-,meso- en macrolevel of social functioning.
makes reflections upon the diversity of 'thruths' within the human sciences.
is able to give a sociological vision upon themes of social inequality, class- en sexe differences in socialisation.
makes the connection between the given insights and the attitudes respect and tolerance .
understands the impact of the personal social position on the own valuesystem.
