Objectives
The study of cultural anthropology is, in a strict sense, not an aim. As the students become social workers, it is a piece of their responsability to manage diversity. As we live in a multucultural and divers society we focus ont he image that we have of people, the mechanisms that lead to it.
As we are working in the field of cultural anthropology, we look at the history of looking at 'otherness', the changing ideas.
This course is well placed in a first year of study. Student can easily find clues in other course as sociology (a natural partner), filosophy and the 'work practice'.
