Objectives The course German is meant as a first introduction to the German language. It focuses on aspects of oral communication. You must realize that having an elementary knowledge of spoken German is a trump card in the current business world. That is why you must be able to understand and interpret a written text and a spoken message. For the same reason you should also be able to put a message into words as correctly as possible.
Topics 1. Grammar: systematically
2. Vocabulary: general, business-oriented and professional training-oriented
3. Reading-proficiency: business-oriented and/or professional training-oriented texts
4. Listening skill: general and business-oriented conversations
5. Speaking skill: pronunciation exercises, general and business-oriented communication, simple translations
6. Writing skill: spelling
7. Aspects of life in Germany
Prerequisites
Final Objectives The competence at which will be worked profoundly is the oral communication skill.
- You are able to use the basic grammar.
- You are able to understand and use general, business-oriented and professional training-oriented vocabulary.
- You are able to understand and interpret simple business-oriented and/or professional training-oriented texts (reading skill and listening skill).
- You are able to formulate your message concisely and correctly in basic businesslike situations (speaking skill).
