Applied computer science, data-analyse, database mangement system

Objectives
Partim statistics
Partim ICT
The use of computer science to solve problems by using sets of information that leads to a database management systems.

Topics
Partim statistics
The student knows what statistics are, how they are made. He knows the different kinds of statistics; gather, define, assimilate and orden the subjects (calculate average, median, modus, variation, deviation of the model variationcoefficient, division of the fequency, curve of Gauss) shedules and diagrams.
Statistic tests
Q-test, 4D-test, reliability investigation, comparison of averages through T-test. Knowledge of elementary variation - analysis /smallest significant different and interpretation of the subjects in that sense. knowledge of correlation and regression. The student has knowledge of software with which statistical assimilation can be done.
Partim ICT
The student knows how to analyse and deduct a problem in sets of information with a normalised structure.
The student is capable to work with the different parts of a database management system: tables, query's, forms, relations, reports, macro's and is familiar with the terminology used within databases.

Prerequisites
Partim statistics
The student can orden data, assimilate and interprete; average, median, modus, deviation of the model, variation.
The student is able to perform, interprete and apply an elementary statistic assimilation through adapted software (calculation of average, median, modus, deviation of the model, ANOVA, t-test, analysis of regression) in function of other training units such as trainership and project operation.
Partim ICT
The student has the knowledge of a Windows Operating System and the basics of office-applications.

Final Objectives
Partim statistics
Partim ICT
The student is able to solve a problem and convert it into a database management system. He also knows how to embed and link the database with the different information organizations of the office-suite
